Support your local hospital this Christmas

This Christmas there are plenty of ways to get involved in the festivities and support your local hospitals. From sending cards to friends or providing a gift to someone in hospital, each time you donate, you’re helping us to provide important support and equipment to all those who use our hospitals in Basingstoke, Winchester and Andover.

Gifts for patients

Every year you amaze us with your generosity in providing gifts for those who will be spending Christmas in hospital.

To help you pick a gift that we know someone will love, we’ve worked with our teams across the wards to compile an online shop full of gift ideas for you to choose from. To purchase, all you need to do is click the button below, select the gift or gifts you’d like to donate and pay for them. They’ll then be sent to us so we can wrap them and hand them out on the big day, bringing comfort and joy to someone who is spending Christmas in hospital.

To ensure we receive the gifts in plenty of time to distribute to as many of our patients as possible, we ask that any kind donations are purchased by Monday 15 December. Thank you!

Giving trees

We’re delighted to have the support of many local businesses this year which are hosting their own giving trees to support the donation of gifts to our patients this Christmas.

The idea is simple. Simply pop a long to a participating business, select a tag from their tree and scan the QR code to purchase the gift listed. It’ll then be sent to us so we can wrap it and have it ready to hand out to patients with us on Christmas Day.

You’ll find giving trees at our hospitals and:

  • Holly Blue, Basingstoke

  • The Wellington Arms, Basingstoke

  • Cornerstones Day Nursey, Basingstoke

  • Howden Insurance, Andover

  • Chalk Hill Blue, Andover

  • Back in Shape Chiropractic, Andover

  • Hildon, Andover

  • The Cart and Horses, Winchester

  • Howden Insurance, Winchester

Letters from
Father Christmas

Christmas is a magical time for everyone but children find the time extra special as they close their eyes tightly and dream about their visit from Father Christmas and all the presents they will open from him on Christmas morning.

By now, the wish lists are written and many are already penning their letter to him, full of their requests for gifts on the big day - wouldn’t it be wonderful if he wrote back?

This year, to make Christmas that little bit more special, our elves are supporting the big man by making sure some children get a reply to their letter.

Submit your child’s details via the button below and, for a donation to the charity, our elves will get to work! Please submit your form no later than Sunday 7 December.
