Become a Charity Champion
Are you an enthusiastic staff member with a passion for improving patient care?
We’re looking for budding volunteers to form a team of Hampshire Hospitals Charity Champions to be our eyes and ears on the ground within our hospitals. It’s an exciting time to join us as we begin our next chapter and prepare for a rebrand of Hampshire Hospitals Charity!
What does being a Hampshire Hospitals Charity Champion involve?
As a champion, you’ll act as a key link between your ward/department and Hampshire Hospitals Charity to share opportunities and events with your colleagues, inform us of grateful patients as well as fundraising and spending within your area.
You’ll also help to promote the charity to colleagues, patients, families and our wider hospital community whilst raising awareness of who we are and the impact we have on the trust.
You will need to have the support of your line manager to apply. There isn’t backfill funding available, but the role can be as big or small as you are able to accommodate – we just need your enthusiasm and passion!

All staff members from across the trust are encouraged to apply across both clinical and non-clinical roles. We hope to build a whole team of Charity Champions across our hospitals so that all staff feel empowered to champion improving patient care and staff wellbeing through our charity as much as possible, so please have a think as to whether this is something you can do.
