It’s our birthday! And we’d love you to help us celebrate.
Every day, the NHS treats over a million people in England. Founded in 1948, the NHS was the first universal health system to be available to all, free at the point of delivery. Since then, the NHS has innovated and adapted to meet the needs of each generation.
Hampshire Hospitals serves a population of approximately 600,000 people across Hampshire and parts of West Berkshire. As their charity, we raise around £1 million to support patients, staff and volunteers through a range of projects. The money you raise could help refurbish and brighten wards, provide equipment, fund staff welfare initiatives and so much more.
We would love you to celebrate everything the NHS means to our community as we approach the NHS’ 78th birthday and Andover War Memorial’s 100th anniversary this summer.
Therefore, we are asking you to take part in The Big Blue Fundraiser!
Get creative by hosting your very own event or simply join us on our ‘Wear it Blue’ day on Friday 3 July, all to raise funds to support projects across our NHS hospitals in Basingstoke, Winchester and Andover.
